Huntington in Bloom

Honoring Our Veterans

In continuation of the City of Huntington’s Veteran’s Day Banner Program, Huntington in Bloom, along with the City of Huntington, will be honoring our veterans again this year with a patriotic display along the streets of downtown Huntington.

We will be honoring our past and present Huntington veterans by showcasing photographs along with their name, branch of service, and other identifying information for living and deceased members of the military from Huntington. This effort is aimed at increasing public awareness of our citizens who have served in the military, and to show our appreciation and respect for their service.

Reserve a Banner

Reserve your banner now through July 1st. If this form is submitted after July 1st or if we reach our maximum banner limit, you will automatically be entered into the program for the following year.

Banners will go up in early October and will come down shortly after Veterans’ Day.

We are now at capacity for the year of 2024.

Banners can be picked up by honorees or their family members at Huntington Fire Department Centennial Station, 839 7th Ave., through the month of November. These banners are free to the honorees or their family members.  If your banner is not picked up within the allotted window, your banner will then become the property of the City of Huntington and may no longer be available to you.

Reserve your banner today!
